I can remember something. Many years ago, I returned to the village in the district of Besut on the market day once a week. I had seen brothers, sisters and mothers who were trading in the market. I had always helped them lifted the goods up to the places they were. At least I lightened their burden. Maybe it realizes a fraternity. Among goods were vegetables, shoot leaves, fruits, pickled fruits, spices, salads, salted fishes, dried anchovies and dried fishes.
One of the habits in community life in the states of Kelantan and Terengganu especially, is about the involvement of women in trading. I was always able to see a large number of women participated in the trade, as seen at the Siti Khadijah market in Kota Bahru in Kelantan. It is the daily market. They were seen very steadfast, would not give up, even though only a small trade. It is a struggle. Might be able to help families or brethren ? I am still supplicating for them. Women have been carrying a variety of tasks in the economic development of Kelantan State. More on market scenery click here
