Pohon Terap is a tree. The local people gave this name. This painting is about the juvenile leaves of Pohon Terap Sapling. It grows in Malaysia Rainforest. This tree is high and has broad leaves. Its wood is not very commercial. It is in the list of softwoods with solidity is 575kgs/m³. Nevertheless, I am not a botanist. Nevertheless, our Rainforest is green. Really beautiful green.
The most softwood timbers found in Malaysia Rainforest are: Kayu Jelutong, solidity is 465kg/m³ ; Kayu Meranti Kuning, solidity is 655kg/m³ ; Kayu Penarahan, solidity is 595kg/m³ ; and Kayu Ramin, solidity is 625kg/m³.
