Malaysia is a country where it location is in a humid climate region. Temperature between 24º and 35º Celsius throughout the year. The trees grow dense and abundant, depending on the amount of rainfalls. It is called the Tropical Rainforest. In short it is.

Pohon Terap is a tree. The local people gave this name. This painting is about the juvenile leaves of Pohon Terap Sapling. It grows in Malaysia Rainforest. This tree is high and has broad leaves. Its wood is not very commercial. It is in the list of softwoods with solidity is 575kgs/m³. Nevertheless, I am not a botanist. Nevertheless, our Rainforest is green. Really beautiful green.

The most softwood timbers found in Malaysia Rainforest are: Kayu Jelutong, solidity is 465kg/m³ ; Kayu Meranti Kuning, solidity is 655kg/m³ ; Kayu Penarahan, solidity is 595kg/m³ ; and Kayu Ramin, solidity is 625kg/m³. Regarding the timbers, I've referred to some books. One of them is titled "Bahan dan Binaan", written by Mat Lazim Zakaria. This book is in Malay language. Whatever has been mentioned, timbers have lots of usefulness. Below is about painting.
